Once we set up an account with FastPay, we went on to verify the account and top up the balance. The interface is very user-friendly and finding our way to the account settings and the cashier was a breeze. The verification team seems to be on top of things, but they are somewhat picky when accepting documents. They review them fairly quickly, but you need to upload photos of original docs, no scans!

Images cannot be over 2MB in size. However, after submitting a scanned passport image, the doc was disapproved with a comment that the image needs to be a captured photo, not a scan. So, keep that in mind, folks.

In a couple of hours, the photo was finally approved, but a selfie was missing. We could say that was our own fault as it did say that a selfie should be included. However, the instructions mentioning this were hidden behind a yellow arrow that we were a bit late to notice.

Make sure to take a selfie with the passport/ID in your hands and upload it, as well. This should speed up the process significantly, we believe. The submitted utility bill was approved within 2h, for example. Once we uploaded the selfie, the account was approved in a couple of hours, no fuss.

Withdrawing Experience

After finishing our real money playing session at FastPay, the time finally came to submit a withdrawal request. And so we did, by accessing the balance section and our wallet operations. Under withdrawals, the list of methods will open, but there will also be a clear message that instructs users to withdraw with the same method they deposited with. Once again, we used Bitcoin (Coinspaid). You just paste the address of your wallet, select or enter the amount you wish to cash out and click on the green button to submit your withdrawal request.

The process is easy enough. However, our first attempt at withdrawing failed because we did not wager the deposit 3 times. It is a rule at FastPay that the sum of bets made since last deposit must exceed 3 times for slots (10 times for live or table games) the size of the latest deposit. If that is not the case, a withdrawal will be charged with a 10% fee – if the casino management team approves it, that is. Read the terms, kids!

We received an email instructing us to contact support, which we did. The polite agent simply wrote in chat to deduct the 10% ourselves from the withdrawal amount and repeat the process. The transaction was confirmed right away and the amount deducted from the balance.

However, the status remained pending another two days. We enquired with the chat, asking why is there a holdup with our cashout. It was on the next day that we received an email which confirmed that our withdrawal did not go through. They returned the money on the casino balance and asked us to repeat the request.

The casino did not specify what the technical difficulty was. They gave no explanation, so we can only assume this was a cheap trick to deny us our payout. Luckily, our second attempt at cashing out went flawlessly. The funds were credited to our wallet in less than 10 minutes, without delay. The entire ordeal left a bit of a bitter taste in our mouth, but in the end it all worked out.
